A senior diplomat is confident a British boy held kidnapped in Pakistan will be freed within the next 12 hours.

Five year old Sahil Saeed, from Oldham, was snatched from his grandmother's house in the Punjab region yesterday and there’s increasing concern for his safety.

The Pakistani High Commissioner in the UK Wajid Shamasul Hasan has said there's a possibility of someone locally may know more.
