Pharmacists Warn Muslims About Ramadan

30 July 2010

Pharmacists are warning Muslim’s over the danger of not taking their medication over Ramadan.

For many Muslims, the daily fast will include essential pills and tablets, which can put them in real danger.

Now a special service has been set up to consult with Muslims and try and work out a way to fast and protect your health.

Tak Lai is a pharmacist with the Co-operative pharmacy. She says medications can usually be changed to fit in with fasting if you consult a doctor or pharmacist first.
