| Career path into radio: |
| I already had an interest in traditional music, and then trained with Dr Avtar Lit at Sunrise Radio, transferring to Kismat Radio in 1989. Other than that, I played international hockey and rugby for Uganda, and was an international rally driver - I drove in five East African Safari rallies, and was the Ugandan champion navigator 1962. |
